There are various ways that you could help our organization and any service you provide is appreciated.

Pictured above are volunteers

*We require surviving family members to wait one year following the death of a loved one before being involved in direct patient care or public relations activities.

Medicare guidelines describe hospice volunteers as unpaid employees; therefore, your training and paperwork must be relatively similar to a paid employee's.  Our volunteer training program is built of three phases, and each phase must be completed before you volunteer for our hospice organization.

Volunteers give as much time as they are able to. Some volunteers contribute several hours a week and some just volunteer for a couple events a year. Don't hesitate to volunteer because you don't think you will be able to give enough time. Whatever time you have to give is a gift and we are more than happy to receive your gift!
