Camp Warm Hearts
At the Springs Camp on M-30
Between West Branch and Gladwin
Weekend winter camp for children and teens, ages 5-15, who have experienced a death of a loved one. Hospice of Helping Hands and MidMichigan Home Care are bringing bereaved children and teens together to warm their hearts. Registration deadline is January 13, 2012 - limited space available. Grief and Loss Support Group - 1st Session

Group is open to all in the community, free of charge, and meets from 1:30p.m. - 3:00p.m. for five consecutive weeks: February. 7, 14, 21, 28 and March 6. Registration is required. Call April at the Hospice of Helping Hands’ office to register, 800-992-6592.

Duck Race in Irons Park at 12:00 Noon
Hundreds of plastic, numbered ducks will be dropped into the river for the Duck Race. Cash prizes go to the first three ducks that cross the finish line. Tickets are $2.00 each or $5.00 for a book of three tickets. Tickets will be sold till the day of the race, July 2nd. If your ticket number matches the number on one of the winning ducks – you win! West Branch 2012 Quilt Walk
to benefit Hospice of Helping Hands - Tickets are $5.00/person and include entry to both show locations. Over 200 quilts will be on display between the 4th Street Gallery and the West Branch Library.
