What Can Hospice Do For My Family?
  • Provide expert management of life-threatening illness and the accompanying symptoms.
Cancer - Heart Failure - Lung Disease - Liver or Kidney Failure - Dementia -
ALS or other neuromuscular diseases
  • Conduct regular assessments of the patient by a registered nurse in the home at a frequency based on patient need.
  • Provide a home health aide to assist with bathing, and perform hair, skin, and nail care as well as light housekeeping.
  • Trained counseling to assist with financial, legal, relationship, or emotional issues.
  • Certified volunteers to run errands and sit with patient for 2-4 hours up to twice per week for caregiver relief.
  • Short-term around-the-clock nursing care in the home (only in case of a medical crisis as described by Medicare regulations).
  • Provide assistance in care of the inner person - the spirit, this includes but is not limited to religious faith.
